  • Place your device close to the Netgear router.

  • Open the command prompt and type ‘ipconfig' (without quotes).

  • Note down your gateway IP address (default) and enter the same in the internet browser URL bar.

For Windows

  • Hit the Windows Start button.

  • Select Settings.

  • Hit on the ‘Network & Internet’ (without quotes) icon.

  • From the left pane, select Ethernet and after that, select your main network connection.

  • For a wireless connection, on the left pane select WiFi and click on the ‘Advanced’ option for the IP address to display.

  • Next to 'Default Gateway' please note down the IP address.

 

For Mac OS X

  • In the first place, from the Apple menu - select ‘System Preferences’.

  • After that, select ‘Network' from the view menu.

  • Now, in the Network preferences window, click on your Network port (Ethernet, WI-FI, AirPort).

  • Once your device is connected, you will soon see router login IP address under the ‘Status' option.

 

If the issue still persists, reset your Netgear device.

  • Take a pin or a paper clip.
